Occupational monitoring: the obligation SUNAFIL enforces and many companies still haven't addressed

Occupational monitoring is the technical measurement of the risk agents your workers are exposed to — noise, temperature, chemicals, physical workload, workplace stress. Law 29783 requires every company to identify and control these agents. It is not optional.

Without a technical report signed by a hygienist, your company cannot prove compliance.

Why monitor

What happens if we don't monitor?

SUNAFIL fines

Serious OSH violations can result in fines ranging from S/ 4,500 to S/ 108,000, depending on the number of workers affected and the severity of the infraction.

Criminal liability

If an accident occurs and the company cannot prove it identified and controlled the risks, the legal representative may face criminal charges. The technical report is the first line of defense.

No documentation, no bid

More and more private contracts and public tenders require current occupational monitoring evidence. Without the report, your company is disqualified before you even start.

Each type of agent has its own measurement methodology and regulatory framework. Select the one that applies to your sector.
