Occupational safety training: the instruction Law 29783 requires and SUNAFIL enforces
Art. 27 of Law 29783 establishes that every employer must ensure OSH training before starting a position, when changing functions, and when new technologies are introduced. Our SSOMAC courses are designed for real work teams — in the field, in the plant, in the warehouse.
Without a signed training record and instructor certificate, your company cannot prove compliance before SUNAFIL.
Why train
What happens if I don't train my workers?
Serious SUNAFIL violation
Lack of documented OSH training is a serious violation under D.S. 019-2006-TR. Fines can exceed S/ 40,000 depending on the number of workers affected.
Employer liability in an accident
If a worker is injured in a high-risk task and there is no prior training record, the employer cannot prove it fulfilled its duty of care — opening the door to civil and criminal liability.
Disqualified from bids for lack of certificates
Many State tenders and private contracts require current certificates in applicable high-risk activities. Without the certificates, your company cannot submit a proposal.
